Where Bandhan AMC is starting from
How it's delivered
The workshop can be run as a single intensive day, or split across two days of four hours each — final format to be confirmed with the client.
Workshop objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
Use Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat (Basic) confidently for everyday leadership tasks — drafting, summarizing, analysis, research
Write effective prompts using a simple, repeatable framework
Understand what Claude and ChatGPT are, how they differ from Copilot, and when to reach for one over another
Explain "Agentic AI" in plain terms and identify where it could apply inside an asset management business
Apply data-privacy and regulatory judgment — what's safe to type into an AI tool given SEBI/AMFI norms and investor-data sensitivity
Leave with 1–2 concrete, low-risk AI pilot ideas for their own function
Session overview
Core modules~8 hours of content across 11 modules, grouped into 4 themes — the same core curriculum, regardless of whether it's run as a single day or split across two. The pages that follow show how these map onto each format.
Foundations
2 hrWelcome, Objectives, Ground Rules · 15 min
Sets expectations for a hands-on, non-lecture format; introduces the day's arc from first contact through to a concrete action plan.
DiscussionActivity I: First Contact · 30 min
Paired, laptops-open exercise — participants log into Copilot Chat and run their first prompts (an ice-breaker, a draft email, a document summary) before any theory is introduced.
Hands-onAI Landscape in 15 Minutes · 15 min
Quick grounding in what generative AI actually is, why it matters for asset management specifically, and what Copilot Chat (Basic) already includes as a free, licensed tool.
LectureThe Prompting Framework · 60 min
Teaches the Context → Task → Format framework for effective prompts, with do's/don'ts, followed by hands-on practice rewriting an earlier prompt and comparing results.
Hands-onTools in Practice
1 hr 45 minActivity III: Task Sprint · 45 min
Participants work through function-relevant scenarios in pairs/small groups, applying what they've learned to realistic drafting and analysis tasks, then share outputs with the room.
Hands-onSame Task, Three Tools + Tool Intros · 60 min
Short live demos introducing Claude, ChatGPT, Custom GPTs, and Claude Artifacts, followed by a hands-on comparison running one identical prompt across Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT — discussing which tool suits which job.
Demo + Hands-onAgentic AI
1 hr 45 minAgentic AI · 60 min
Plain-English explanation of what an "agent" is versus a chatbot, illustrated with realistic AMC examples, with an emphasis on human-in-the-loop oversight for anything investor- or disclosure-facing.
LectureActivity V: Try an Agent · 45 min
Guided walkthrough of a sample agent (or simulated multi-step agent workflow), followed by a debrief on what it got right and where human review would still be needed.
Hands-onGovernance & Action
2 hr 30 minWhere Could This Work? (Group Exercise) · 60 min
Function-based groups map their own workflows against three questions: what's repetitive, where "good enough, fast" is acceptable, and what must never be automated or shown to an external AI tool. Groups present back.
ExerciseData Privacy & Responsible AI / Governance · 60 min
Covers what's safe (and unsafe) to input into any AI tool, what Enterprise Data Protection does and doesn't cover, and the regulatory lens specific to an AMC — SEBI/AMFI disclosure norms, material non-public information, and standard investor-facing disclaimer requirements. Closes with a rapid-fire real-world quiz.
Discussion + QuizAction Plan and Way Forward · 30 min
Each participant completes a short action card — one thing to start using this week, one pilot idea for their team — seeding a 30-day follow-up check-in. Closes with Q&A and feedback.

What early adopters will learn & walk away with
For the ~90–100 early adopters across Bandhan AMC's functions, the learning journey follows one consistent 4-module arc — the same shape for everyone. Each module may span one or more sessions depending on the final delivery format. What changes per department is the content inside each module: the examples, prompts, and data used are tailored to what each function actually does.
Module 1 · Gather Intelligence
Precise prompting and structured research techniques in Copilot Chat — building a reliable base of information before acting on it.
Module 2 · Generate Insights
Turning gathered information into structured analysis, flags, and opportunity framing relevant to each participant's function.
Module 3 · Support Decisions
Comparing options, stress-testing assumptions, and using AI as a sounding board before committing to a course of action.
Module 4 · Drive Execution
Turning a decision into something shareable — a summary, a first draft, a workflow — ready to hand off or act on.
Curating by department — what we need from you
The 4-module arc stays fixed, but the examples, prompts, and outcomes inside it need to be curated per function so the content reflects real work — not generic examples. To do that, we need the following from Bandhan AMC for each department (Marketing, Product, Finance, Fund Management, HR, and CXO & Senior Management):
Desired outcome
What "success" looks like for this group — fluency, a productivity target, or readiness for a future rollout.
Top 2–3 high-frequency tasks
The everyday tasks in this function AI could plausibly help with — the raw material for module examples.
Function-specific constraints
Any tighter data-handling or disclosure rules this group works under — e.g. Fund Management vs. Marketing.
Thank you
We'd love to bring this to Bandhan AMC's leadership team.
